At the end of Thursday night's first half game between the Miami Dolphins and Buffalo Bills, which you could watch with NFL Game Pass on DAZN (excl. US and China), quarterback Josh Allen looked to have fumbled the ball while getting the ball from the center and taking a knee. Allen picked up the ball and handed the football to the official. But it wasn't clear if Allen's knee touched the ground in possession of the ball.

Dolphins head coach Mike McDaniel feels Allen fumbled on the play and will be contacting the NFL about the matter.

"It was a great exercise in my mental discipline," McDaniel said on Friday. "I saw it. I knew what happened. I also saw the whistle blow, and I saw them run in. I ran in to prepare for the second half, knowing that he just fumbled -- or I thought he did at least. We'll be in talks with the league. Haven't gotten any feedback yet. Live speed, it appeared to me that it was a fumble under the assumption that it was a clean center-quarterback exchange. We'll see how the league rules it."

The game was close until late in the fourth quarter, when Dolphins quarterback Tua Tagovailoa threw an interception to seal a 31-21 victory for the Bills.

Would the play at the end of the first half have made a difference?
