NFL Week 16 Early Game Results: Panthers top Buccaneers to take control of NFC South

The early slate of games didn't disappoint to begin Week 15, which you can watch with NFL Game Pass on DAZN (excl. US and China).

The Carolina Panthers (8-7) moved one step closer to the NFC South title as they defeated the Tampa Bay Buccaneers 23-20 and move into first place. With the score tied at 20, Panthers kicker Ryan Fitzgerald booted a 48-yard field goal to give Carolina the lead.

The Bucs drove into Panthers territory, but quarterback Baker Mayfield threw an interception to Bucs safety Lathan Ransom in a pass intended for Mike Evans to seal the win for Carolina. Panthers quarterback Bryce Young went 21 of 32 for 191 yards and two touchdown passes.

Next week, if the Panthers win over the Seahawks and the Bucs lose to the Cardinals, they are division champions.
