The Buffalo Bills shrugged off a second-half push by the Pittsburgh Steelers to win 31-17 in their NFL Wild Card match-up on Monday.

Originally scheduled for Sunday, the game was delayed due to a massive snowstorm in the Western New York region. However, the postponement didn't seem to affect the Bills as they stormed to a 14-0 lead at the end of the first quarter.

Buffalo took a 21-0 lead halfway through the second quarter after a brilliant Josh Allen run to the end zone, and it seemed as though the Bills were going to cruise to victory without much fightback by the visiting Steelers.

To their credit, the Steelers didn't not give up as easily as they initially seemed to, and Pittsburgh quarterback Mason Rudolph engineered a touchdown drive late in the first half that breathed life back into the game.

The teams traded field goals in the third quarter as the pace of the game slowed down substantially, but Pittsburgh made things very interesting early in the fourth quarter as Rudolph connected with Calvin Austin III for a TD.

However, Khalil Shakir put the result beyond doubt with a spectacular 17-yard touchdown reception that involved the Bills receiver breaking several tackles to find the end zone.

The result sets up a juicy Divisional Round showdown with the Kansas City Chiefs, this time in Buffalo.
