Andy Ruiz Jr. has seemingly celebrated his new deal with Matchroom in one of the more unorthodox ways -with a diss track.

The Mexican-American fighter confirmed his return in a September bout with Damian Knyba following a deal with Eddie Hearn

Most famous for his reign as unified heavyweight champion after dethroning Anthony Joshua, Ruiz is bidding for the top again.

But while he waits to secure his opportunity, the veteran fighter has been in the studio to lay a verbal smackdown on his rivals.

"Moses Itauma vs. Andy Ruiz Jr. makes sense"

Eddie Hearn tells DAZN News why Matchroom have signed the former world championship

Step Into the Ring makes reference to Joshua, as well as other leading heavyweights including Oleksandr Usyk and Tyson Fury.

The trio of Dillian Whyte, Deontay Wilder and Jarrell Miller are also namechecked as Ruiz effectively hypes his own comeback trail.

Ruiz has struggled for activity since Joshua regathered his unified crown against him in late 2019, with just three bouts since then.

Most recently, he played out a draw with Miller back in 2024, while links to Moses Itauma have been floated on several occasions too.
