Anthony Joshua is reportedly set to fight in February next year, as His Excellency Turki Alalshikh promised major surprises for fans in 2026.
The Briton has not fought since defeat to Daniel Dubois in their IBF heavyweight championship bout last September, with more than a year out.
The star has been repeatedly linked to a domestic super-clash with the retired Tyson Fury, as well as a potential trilogy with Oleksandr Usyk.
A clash with Jake Paul next month has been recently mooted following the latter's collapsed bout with Gervonta 'Tank' Davis as an option too.
But speaking at Chris Eubank Jr. and Conor Benn's rematch in London, His Excellency has suggested a definitive answer will imminently arrive.
"We will have Joshua in our country in February," he said on DAZN's broadcast. "Next year, we have two big events here in London, which will be a surprise."
"Then there is the big fight, one of the greatest fights in the history of boxing in London, maybe in September. We will have a surprise for the fans.
Pressed for a final word, His Excellency added: "Wait for us in Manchester, in April, and wait for us in London in September. There are two big surprsies."
Confirmation that Joshua will return next February would appear to ice suggestions he will meet with Paul in December, as speculation has suggested.
Further discussions over a likely encounter with Fury are sure to only further intensify, with the two stars having come close to a dance on several occasions.
Chris Eubank Jr and Conor Benn's much anticipated rematch is live and exclusive on DAZN PPV on Saturday, November 15. Buy for £24.99 UK / $59.99 US.
