Bob Arum provides shocking verdict on the future of Tyson Fury

DAZN
Watch Eubank Jr vs Benn April 26 live on DAZN

Tyson Fury retired from boxing earlier this year , but there are still people within the sport that believe the former world champion could fight again.

After losing to Oleksandr Usyk for a second time last December , Fury still had plenty of lucrative options in front of him with some expecting him to pursue a long-awaited showdown with Anthony Joshua.

Instead, Fury shocked the world by announcing he was done with boxing seemingly bringing to an end an illustrious career that saw him reign as world champion on two occasions.

With the year approaching the halfway mark and numerous heavyweights plotting their next move behind the scenes, Fury is still nowhere to be seen.

Bob Arum, who played a huge part in guiding Fury in America, is the latest high profile fight figure to speak out on the matter.

During a lengthy run in boxing that lasted numerous decades, Arum has seen many fighters exit the sport before later changing their mind.

The Top Rank boss is now of the belief that Fury has competed in his last fight and his series with Usyk will be the last time we see him in a boxing ring.

"If I was a betting man I would say he will never fight again," said Arum when speaking on the 5 Live podcast

"Marvin Hagler had an expression - 'a rich guy who goes to bed wearing silk pyjamas doesn't get up in the morning to do road work'.

"Tyson, really, I don't think wants to get up in the morning and do road work and go through the experience of having to train when economically he doesn't have to do it any more."
