Khaleel Majid maintained his unbeaten record as he scored the best win of his career against Alex Murphy in a thrilling battle in Manchester.

Despite conceding the early rounds, Murphy would not be put off and he did have some success in the middle rounds which earned Majid a telling off from Buddy McGirt in his corner.
Majid did respond well as the fight reached the closing stages and his extra work in those sessions appeared to be the difference when the fight eventually went to the scorecards.
Verdicts of 97-94, 96-94, and 96-95 were enough to get Majid over the finishing line and these ten valuable rounds will serve him well moving forward.
