DAZN News brings you the biggest stories in boxing on Friday, February 27.
After shocking the world with his move from Matchroom to Zuffa Boxing, Conor Benn has confirmed his debut with Dana White's boxing venture.
Benn will be facing two-time world super lightweight champion Regis Prograis on the undercard of Tyson Fury's heavyweight clash with Arslanbek Makhmudov on Saturday, April 11.
The bout will take place at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, and will take place at a catchweight of 150lbs.
Considering a big song and dance was made about Benn switching promoters, the Prograis announcement has been met with a negative response.
Newly crowned WBC welterweight champion Ryan Garcia is ready to face world super lightweight champion Shakur Stevenson.
Garcia and Stevenson are two of America's biggest boxing stars, and this particular contest would be a seismic event.
In a series of exchanges on X, Garcia called out Stevenson and even made the shock offer of coming down to 140lbs to face Stevenson.
This challenge from Garcia raised eyebrows with the 27-year-old not having fought at super lightweight since his no-contest with Devin Haney two years ago.
The biggest fight of the weekend is in Glendale, Arizona, where Emanuel Navarrete and Eduardo 'Sugar' Nunez meet in an all-Mexican world title fight.
The IBF and WBO super featherweight belts will be up for grabs in a contest which guarantees fireworks.
However, Navarrete did miss the first media event of fight week after failing to turn up to Thursday's press conference due to visa issues.
Navarrete did manage to arrive in time for a face off against his fellow countryman.
