Wardley vs. Dubois: Only on DAZN PPV - Saturday

DAZN News rounds up the biggest boxing stories on Tuesday, May 5.

Itauma to fight August 8 in London

Moses Itauma's next fight date and location have been confirmed by his promoter, Frank Warren.

Itauma was heavily rumoured to be fighting on Saturday, July 25, but the announcement of Anthony Joshua's comeback bout against Kristian Prenga scuppered these plans.

Instead, Itauma will now fight two weeks later on August 8, in London, as revealed by Warren on The Ariel Helwani Show

"He will probably fight now on August 8, that's what will happen," Warren said.

"Moses is going to be out on that date. He's an exciting fighter, he's doing everything that's asked of him."

Usyk vs. Benavidez rumoured for 2027

Newly crowned WBA and WBO cruiserweight champion David Benavidez is still celebrating his Cinco de Mayo win over Gilberto 'Zurdo' Ramirez, but he is already being linked to some big fights in the near future.

One of those could be against Oleksandr Usyk at heavyweight, with Ring Magazine reporting that His Excellency Turki Alalshikh is interested in staging the contest.

While this would be a thrilling, all-action affair, don't expect it to happen any time soon.

Benavidez stated in his post-fight press conference in Las Vegas that he has no intentions of moving further up in weight for at least five years.

Spence ready to upset Australia

Three years after losing to Terence Crawford, Errol Spence Jr. will finally return to the ring when he faces Tim Tszyu in Australia on July 25.

Spence is stepping into the lion's den for his comeback fight, and he is ready to embarrass Tszyu in front of his own fans.

“There’s a first time for everything. I’m definitely looking forward to beating him in Australia and disappointing all those people," Spence said at the fight's launch press conference.

“I’m taking it one fight at a time. I’m not mapping out anything. I’m going with the flow and enjoying the whole process. You have to live in the moment."
