Liverpool fighter Darren Till has indicated a desire to return to the UFC.
Till, who asked for his release from the world’s biggest MMA league just over two years ago, is set to face Darren Stewart in a show in Derby this weekend. However, he told the website Bloody Elbow that while he was considering joining the PFL, he was open to a fight under Dana White’s organisation.
Till said: “Depending on things, I might try my hand at the PFL, have a little go. I speak to them quite a bit and, look, if the UFC want me back, then let’s see what happens with all that.”
He added: “I’ve spoke to the PFL and I like the way they do their organization. I would actually love a bash at it. It just depends then if the UFC would have me back after that, I don’t know. I think I still have a few years left in me.”

Till’s last fight within the UFC was in December 2022, when he lost by submission in the third round. Till then reportedly asked for his release from the organisation having lost five of his last six fights within the promotion at the time.
The 32-year-old middleweight faces Darren Stewart this weekend at Vaillant Live. The event is set to be broadcast on DAZN. Both fighters are formerly of the UFC, although Till is the larger name. According to Sherdog, Stewart has an MMA record of 16-10, with ten of his victories coming by stoppage or submission.
Despite the fight drawing close, Till has continued to call out Tommy Fury on social media, saying on X that the influencer/boxer was ‘fighting in Europe somewhere against another nobody who nobody knows.’
Till was responding to Tommy Fury saying that he was ‘not interested’ in a fight between the pair, calling him ‘unprofessional’ in their previous dealings.
Ominously, Till did allude in his interview with Bloody Elbow to the long-term impacts of his chosen profession, saying that he did not feel as if he had yet developed CTE.
He said: “I pronounce my words properly. I’ve got a solid brain on myself even though I know I say some mad things sometimes. That’s just public persona, obviously I’m a mad c— but I don’t think I have any early signs of CTE, or I hope not.”
