Former world champion Carl Frampton believes Dave Allen has the tools and the tank to defeat Arslanbek Makhmudov when the pair meet tonight in Sheffield.
'The White Rhino' takes on the 'Lion' at the Utilita Arena looking to score the biggest win of his career after his victory over Johnny Fisher.
Success for Allen could book him a chance against a top-ranked heavyweight next year, but Makhmudov represents a new level of foe.
Ahead of their bout, ex-two-weight world champion Frampton however believes a smart performance from the Briton could expose his rival.
"It's a big opportunity for Dave," he exclusively told DAZN News. "Makhmudov, not that long ago, was the heavyweight that nobody wanted.
"That was up until the Kabayel fight, where he lost. It's still a dangerous fight for Dave, but I fancy him and I think momentum is on his side.
"I think Makhmudov unravels in the second half. I don't think he has the biggest engine in the world. Dave can be smart and stay away.
"Then before the end, he needs to apply pressure, stay close and not create any distance. He's a chance and I think Dave stops him late."
