The next chapter of Top Rank’s incredible story is set to be played out on DAZN after the thriving promotional group became the latest boxing powerhouse to join the Global Home of Boxing.
Fronted by Bob Arum, the legendary promoter, has staged countless shows, but who does he consider the most intimidating fighter he has ever worked with?

Arum has promoted Muhammad Ali, Oscar De La Hoya , Floyd Mayweather , and Manny Pacquiao , and he has fond memories of working with all.
Still very much an active and prominent promoter at the age of 94, the head of Top Rank still works with some of the biggest names in boxing including world champions, Abdullah Mason and Bruce Carrington.
Throughout his run at the top of the sport, some of boxing’s most dangerous fighters have looked menacing on Arum’s shows, but Arum has singled out one superstar from a past era as being the most intimidating fighter he ever saw.
“The fighter who acted the most intimidating before the fight, in the ring, but was a sweetheart, a guy I really love, is Roberto Duran,” said Arum when speaking to DAZN .
At the peak of his powers, Duran was one of the sport’s best fighters as he reigned as world champion in several divisions and even defeated the great Sugar Ray Leonard in one of boxing’s most memorable fights back in 1980.
The iconic Panamanian fought 119 times before walking away from the sport in 2001, 33 years after his professional debut.
