Wilder is back this summer.

Deontay Wilder is still hopeful a fight with Anthony Joshua can happen and he’s hoping to set it up by defeating Zhilei Zhang.

Wilder and Zhang will meet on June 1 and with both fighters recently losing to Joseph Parker, another loss could spell the end of their heavyweight aspirations.

Wilder, a longtime rival of Joshua, desperately needs to rediscover his frightening form if he’s to land another huge opportunity after Zhang.

If that happens, the American star is confident that he and Joshua will meet.

"I always said it before, it'll be a shame if we never fought. It only takes that one fight, that one night. June 1st is going to be that night, that one fight,” said Wilder when speaking to BBC Sport

"Deontay Wilder knocks [Zhang's] head off and the world goes crazy. And there we go again, Wilder versus Joshua. They want it [again]."
