The pre-fight animosity continues.

Devin Haney and Ryan Garcia have 'agreed' to a $500,000 bet ahead of the weigh-in for their WBC super lightweight title fight on Saturday.

Before the opening bell, the two fighters will need to make the 140lb limit on Friday, but Haney, who is the defending champion, has voiced concerns about Garcia's weight.

The issue came up once again during the final press conference on Thursday and Garcia has now placed a huge sanction upon himself.

"[Let’s bet] $500,000,” Garcia said, “$500,000.”

“Okay, that’s a bet,” Devin's trainer and father Bill Haney replied. “If you don’t make weight, it’s $500,000.”

“It’s a bet,” Garcia responded.

Devin Haney then increased the stakes even further, “$500,000 per pound [over the agreed weight]. Hey, Ryan. Let’s do $500,000 per pound. You wanna shake on it?”

The two fighters then shook hands to confirm the bet adding to what has been an intense build-up with Haney and Garcia set to finally settle their differences at Brooklyn's Barclays Center live on DAZN PPV
