The eagerly anticipated rematch between Katie Taylor and Chantelle Cameron looks like it could take place at the backend of this year.
Back in May, Cameron caused a minor upset when she travelled to Dublin and retained her undisputed world title status at 140lbs with a hard-fought points win.
Taylor, despite being the challenger in the bout, had a rematch clause in her contract before the first bout and it now looks like she's going to take advantage of the stipulation.
Eddie Hearn, the promoter of both boxers, has revealed that negotiations are underway to stage the sequel and it appears November will be the month when it takes place.
"Katie is going to exercise that rematch clause against Chantelle Cameron,” said Hearn when speaking to Matchroom Boxing’s YouTube channel.
“We'll plan that fight for November time. It's gonna be a huge fight. There was no talking Katie Taylor into any other fight. All she wanted was a chance to rematch Chantelle Cameron."
