Eddie Hearn doing all he can to land Deontay Wilder fight for one heavyweight and it is not Anthony Joshua

Eddie Hearn is going all out to deliver Dave Allen a huge fight against former heavyweight champion, Deontay Wilder. 

Last month, Allen registered one of the biggest wins of his career as he became the first fighter to inflict defeat on Johnny Fisher when they collided in London. 

Last year, the pair had met in Saudi Arabia, and although many believed Allen should have been awarded the victory, it was Fisher who got the nod. 

In the rematch, Allen left nothing to chance, and his positive approach brought massive rewards as his pressure slowed Fisher down early. 

After hurting the man from Essex, Allem was relentless, and he was able to find a shot that ended the contest immediately.

Since the win, Allen’s name has been linked to several high-profile showdowns, but it now looks like he will return to the ring in September. 

Numerous names including Derk Chisora, Moses Itauma, and David Adeleye, have been speculated, but Hearn is eager to put his man with Wilder. 

“I have heard that Shelly Finkel likes the Dave Allen fight for Deontay Wilder,” said Hearn when speaking to IFLTV regarding the future of Allen. 

“If Allen wins in September, I’m going to do everything I can to make Wilder-Allen. Mate, how big is that fight? You know that fight sells out the O2, Manchester Arena and all those, and some.”
