Eddie Hearn poses two questions for Johnny Fisher ahead of Dave Allen rematch

Promoter Eddie Hearn believes that Johnny Fisher's chances of beating Dave Allen this Saturday will depend on whether he could answer two questions inside the ring.

The pair will meet at London's Copper Box Arena live on DAZN, following a controversial encounter in Riyadh at the end of last year.

Fighting on the undercard for Oleksandr Usyk's rematch with Tyson Fury, Allen scored a knockdown in the fifth round, but he went on to lose the contest by split decision, a result which was disputed by a number of those watching.

The upcoming rematch serves as a chance to settle the score and Hearn is eager to see whether Fisher has made the necessary improvements to get a more comprehensive win.

"I think you’re going to get the same drama on Saturday," Hearn told The Stomping Ground

"The questions are, has Johnny learnt enough from the first fight to improve and do a better job on Dave Allen? Dave Allen’s confidence will be off the scale, he will think to himself ‘I dropped him in the first fight, I can land much cleaner shots than that. I’m fitter this time.’

"What are the mental demons of that first fight for Johnny because he’s never experienced anything like that before. Johnny seems to have removed himself from the madness of Essex, social media and that kind of stuff.

"The reality is no one has a clue about what’s going to happen on Saturday night and that’s when you get the best fights."

Fisher will have fond memories of fighting at the Copper Box. His last outing in the former London 2012 Olympic venue saw him knockout Croatia's Alen Babic in the first round.

The man known as 'The Romford Bull' will be hoping for more of the same in front of his army of passionate fans this weekend.
