Eubank Jr vs Benn - Fighter who fought Eubank Jr and Canelo makes his prediction for rematch
Liam Smith knows as well as anyone what it takes to share the ring with Chris Eubank Jr .
The Liverpool man faced Eubank Jr twice in 2023 and after stopping him emphatically in their first meeting, Smith could not repeat the result in the rematch when Eubank Jr was victorious.
Throughout the build-up for Eubank Jr’s fight with Conor Benn earlier this year, Smith, who eventually lost to Aaron McKenna on the same card, was constantly asked who would come out on top between his former rival and Benn.
Due to the drama of their first fight, an immediate rematch appeared natural, and the pair will go at it again on November 15 at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, the scene of their first fight.
Smith, who is still plotting his next move, has once again provided his thoughts on Eubank Jr and Benn, and he thinks the latter could get revenge when the first bell sounds in two months.
“I think it’s a closer fight this time round,” said Smith when discussing the outcome with IFLTV .
“I maybe edge a little bit towards Conor this time round, I didn’t last time, I thought the fight would probably pan out the way it did.”
