Leading podcaster and MMA expert Joe Rogan has claimed that a judges' scorecard from this past weekend's fight between Tyson Fury and Francis Ngannou was completely wrong.

Many doubted whether Ngannou would be a tough test for the WBC world heavyweight champion, but the former UFC heavyweight champion held his own.

After knocking down Fury in round three of the 10 round contest, there were some who thought Ngannou may have just done enough to beat one of boxing's best heavyweights and was set to produce one of the biggest shocks in the sport.

Come the final bell however, only one judge scored the fight in Ngannou's favour while the other two declared Fury the winner.

Speaking on The Joe Rogan Experience, Rogan was quick to criticise one of the judges who scored the crossover clash.

"Most people, including me, thought he should’ve won the decision – including most boxers, most boxing pundits," Rogan said.

"He lost by one point on one judge’s scorecard. He won on one judge’s scorecard, and another judge, who should go to jail, had it 96-93 for Tyson Fury, which is f—g outrageous.”
