Fabio Wardley’s summer homecoming at Ipswich Town’s Portman Road is still going ahead after it was announced that Australia’s Justis Huni will be his new opponent.
The fight will take place on June 7 and will be broadcast exclusively live on DAZN .
Wardley had been set to face Jarrell Miller and the bad tempers between the pair were evident to see when they collided at a press conference to announce the fight earlier this year.

Now, Wardley still faces a massive threat as he will go in with Huni, who is a highly ranked contender with a daunting record to his name.
Since turning professional in 2020, Huni has climbed the ratings in a dominant manner with 12 wins, seven coming early.
Huni has been lined to several high-profile showdowns in recent years and now he will get his chance to assert himself at the business end of the division as he takes on one of Britain’s fast-rising heavyweights.
Wardley will be hoping that home advantage will be a crucial factor for him when they collide next month, but the chance for Huni to cause a small upset on away soil will also be a major incentive.
