Gabriela Fundora delivers sensational knockout in third defense of her undisputed crown before making bold claim

Another Gabriela Fundora fight, another scintillating victory.

Fundora overwhelmed a gritty Viviana Ruiz Corredor toward a sixth-round TKO in defense of her undisputed flyweight world championship Saturday night at the Honda Center in Anaheim, California, and live on DAZN. The stoppage marked Fundora's fourth straight victory by knockout as she improved to 18-0 with 10 KOs.

Ruiz Corredor diligently worked her way inside of Fundora's seven-inch reach advantage to land right hands on the champ, but all 'Sweet Poison' was doing was measuring her up.

She unleashed a quick right-left combination to drop Ruiz Corredor in the fourth round and hurt the 43-year-old titles challenger more in the fifth.

That's when Fundora's father advised that Ruiz Corredor was ready to go and 'Sweet Poison' took heed. The pound-for-pound star mashed the pedal with punching output to overwhelm and stop the challenger in the sixth round.

The victory marks Fundora's third straight defense of her undisputed flyweight crown as the 23-year-old sensation told DAZN she believes she can make weight at 108 pounds — a division lower — to vie to become a world champion there too.

At 5-foot-9 with 69 inches of reach, Fundora presents a complex puzzle to seemingly anyone sharing a ring with her, as she continues to show sweet science skills and menacing power — much like the style of her brother, WBC super welterweight world champion Sebastian Fundora, who led her out to the ring Saturday night.

If Fundora does slide down to junior flyweight, she could line up a fight with unified WBO, IBF and WBA world champion Evelyn Bermudez or WBC titleholder Lourdes Juarez.
