Jermall Charlo still believes he can earn three-weight champion status as he prepares for his first bout in a year this month.

The American will figure on the Errol Spence Jr.-Tim Tszyu undercard at Sydney's Afterpay Arena against Koen Mazoudier.

Having earned titles at light middleweight and middleweight, Charlo will aim to now conquer the super-middleweight division.

Now, the American has outlined his plans, and believes that with a revised lifestyle, he can deliver on his promise once more.

Mason vs. Bell Highlights

"I want to go for another world title in a third weight division," he was quoted by The Ring. "I feel a lot more comfortable at 168.

"It really doesn’t matter who they put in front of me [to fight next]. I feel like I’m going to have my advantages in this division.

"I’m planning to make this quarter of my career the best one. My focus is just different now. I’ve eliminated distractions.

"I feel fresh at this point in my career. I’m doing all of the things that I’m supposed to be doing. I’m here for the long run."
