Lewis Crocker has spoken about how he feels the boxing public has "written me off for this fight" as he prepares for his historic world title rematch with Paddy Donovan.
The two men meet at Belfast's Windsor Park for the IBF welterweight title, over half a year on from the former's controversial victory by disqualification at the SSE Arena.
Donovan was ahead on all three scorecards when a blow after the bell saw him ejected in the contest, then a title eliminator to face Jaron 'Boots' Ennis for the full strap.
The American's decision to vacate the crown means that both men will make history when they meet this weekend, in a bout which Crocker enters as a relative underdog.
Speaking on the pyschological preparations he has made since for this rematch, the star admits that he has altered his approach, but feels comfortable he can win again.
"It changes," he told DAZN News in a media conference call. "It does change. The last fight was seen as a 50-50 fight. I feel like everyone has written me off for this fight.
"I've got to be better from the last time around. I'm feeling very confident going into this fight. Fight week is always busy, and I've always got stuff to do. I'm used to it now.
"But the main part is on September 13th. It will be exceptional on the pitch, with the crowd. It is going to be such a huge occasion for everyone and for the city of Belfast."
Asked whether he had plans for a surprise with his ring walk, Crocker played coy, but did not rule out the chance, laughing: "We'll see, we'll see. Maybe something."
