WBO women's super welterweight champion Natasha Jonas will be fighting in Liverpool for the first time in three years when she faces WBC title holder Patricia Berghult in a unification clash on the undercard of Liam Smith vs. Hassan Mwakinyo.
Jonas captured the WBO belt in February with a second round stoppage win against Chris Namus and is now looking to continue featuring in big fights instead of routine title defences.
Berghult, who is unbeaten in her 15 professional fights is likely to be Jonas' toughest test yet. Berghult beat Hannah Rankin in 2019 before overcoming Olivia Belkacem to become WBC champion last year.
Here's everything you need to know about Jonas vs. Berghult.
The main card is set to get underway at 7 p.m. BST / 2 p.m. ET with ringwalks for Jonas vs. Berghult scheduled for 8 p.m. BST / 3 p.m. ET. These timings could change due to the length of the undercard fights.
Sky Sports will broadcast the fight in the UK, a U.S. broadcaster is yet to be announced.
The fight will take place at the M&S Bank Arena in Liverpool.
