Parker vs. Wardley: Daniel Dubois wants the winner of the main event
The winner of Saturday's WBO interim heavyweight title fight between champion Joseph Parker and Fabio Wardley on DAZN PPV is expected to next face two-time undisputed heavyweight titlist Oleksandr Usyk. But a name has entered the fray just in case that fight doesn't happen next.
Speaking to DAZN during the Parker vs. Wardley undercard, former IBF titlist Daniel Dubois said he's ready to action soon.
"Hopefully soon. Hopefully real soon. I've asked Frank (Warren) who I'm going to be fighting next," Dubois said. When asked if he wants to face the winner of Parker vs. Wardley, "Dynamite" didn't mince words.
"Yeah, of course," Dubois declared.
When asked who would win the fight, Dubois kept his answer close to the vest.
"May the best man win", Dubois said.
Dubois (22-3, 21 KOs)Â last fought at the end of July, losing his IBF belt to Usyk by fifth-round knockout.
