Ryan Garcia's next fight: Date, time, price for Garcia vs. Duno co-feature on Canelo vs. Kovalev cardDAZN
Will the 21-year-old boxing sensation continue his surge toward a world title opportunity?

One of boxing's brightest stars returns to the ring on Saturday, Nov. 2, as Ryan Garcia faces Romero Duno as the co-feature to Canelo Alvarez vs. Sergey Kovalev at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas.

The 21-year-old boxing sensation was supposed to fight on Sept. 14, but his slated opponent Avery Sparrow pulled a no-show on the scales during the weigh-in the day before. It was then revealed that Sparrow was arrested for a prior charge and that the Garcia fight had to be scratched.

But Garcia vs. Duno figures to be a better fight anyway. Garcia (18-0, 15 KOs) enters the ring coming off a second-round TKO of Jose Lopez in March. Lopez dropped Garcia with a blistering uppercut, which triggered Garcia's corner to end the bout right then and there.

Garcia may need to deliver that kind of pop and overall power against Duno (21-1, 16 KOs), who has won 12 straight fights after suffering his only pro defeat — a unanimous decision loss to Mikhail Alexeev in May 2016. The 24-year-old Duno is coming off a corner stoppage victory after pummeling Ivan Delgado on that same Sept. 14 card that Garcia was supposed to fight Sparrow on.

Will Garcia continue climbing up the ranks toward a lightweight world title shot, or will Duno steal some shine from boxing's dreamboat and punch his own ticket toward stardom?

Here's a complete guide to the Ryan Garcia vs. Romero Duno fight, which is available exclusively for streaming on DAZN rather than traditional pay-per-view.

When is Ryan Garcia's next fight?

  • Date: Saturday, Nov. 2, 2019
