Is Terence Crawford now pound-for-pound number one on DAZN News' Christopher Walker's list?

Terence Crawford produced something of a mini shock on Saturday night when he defeated Canelo Alvarez to become undisputed ruler at super-middleweight . 

The result added to Crawford’s impressive legacy, and it will no doubt improve his standing on boxing’s mythical pound-for-pound list. 

Does Crawford move to number on Chrstopher Walker’s pound-for-pound list? The answer is yes after some long deliberations. 

Crawford jumping two weights to defeat Canelo impressively is enough to give him top spot at the expense of Oleksandr Usyk even though Usyk also had had to concede plenty of size when overcoming the likes of Anthony Joshua and Tyson Fury. 

Now undisputed champion in three weight classes and a world champion in five, Usyk’s lengthy body of work including victories over fellow pound-for-pounders, Errol Spence and Canelo, make him the best fighter in the sport today by the narrowest of margins.
