Tommy Fury has been suffering from illness as he prepares for his fight with Jake Paul.

The Love Island star and boxer will take on the YouTuber and fellow fighter on December 18 in Florida, as Fury competes in his second stateside match-up.

Paul was last in action against Tyron Woodley which he won despite the toughest bout of his career, while Fury was able to beat Anthony Taylor in a disappointing showing.

With room for improvement, WBC champion Tyson Fury has been training his younger brother, who has been suffering from a cold.

Frank Warren, the brothers’ promoter, believes that it should not hold him back in the ring. Speaking to IFL TV, he said: “Tommy had a little bit of a cold but hopefully he is going to be okay.

“We are up in Morecambe [on Wednesday] so hopefully we will know more then, but he is up for it and he wants to fight.

“He can’t wait for the fight and I know certainly from Jake’s perspective he can’t wait for the fight.”
