Tyson Fury eyes Agit Kabayel, Daniel Dubois if Anthony Joshua fight falls through
Last year, Tyson Fury said he wouldn't fight close friends Joseph Parker and Agit Kabayel. But as the former heavyweight champion tends to do, he's apparently changed his mind on at least one of those opponents.
In an interview with IFL.TV, Fury said that if the long-awaited clash with fellow Brit Anthony Joshua falls through for one reason or another, then he'd consider two options for a foe. One would be Kabayel if unified champion Oleksandr Usyk goes through with a rematch against Rico Verhoeven instead of the German, whose his mandatory. If Usyk fails to face Kabayel next, then the latter will be elevated to full champion status. That seems to interest Fury.

“I’m No. 1 ranked with the WBC again, if (Usyk) pulls out of the fight with Kabayel, then I’m in with Kabayel," Fury told IFL. "If the Joshua fight doesn’t happen for whatever reason, then I’ll get my shot at (becoming) three times (world champion) against Kabayel, and I’ll take it to Wembley. Kabayel’s a big, destroying man, whom I’ve known from being a young lad. And helped promote him, manage him, look after him, everything. That’d be great.”
But there's another Brit who gets Fury excited, and that is two-time and current WBO champion Daniel Dubois, who stopped Fabio Wardley in a Fight of the Year candidate back in May.
“Yeah, of course, I’d fight anybody," Fury answered about a possible Dubois fight. "I don’t give a shit, man, who I fight. I thought Dubois did a beautiful job in his last fight against Wardley. It was an unbelievable fight, by the way, congratulations to both men. They knocked the shit out of each other.”
What will Tyson Fury's next move be? Only time will tell.
