Viddal Riley delivered a triumphant homecoming performance as he outpointed Cheavon Clarke by unanimous decision to claim the British cruiserweight title in style.
The unbeaten star made his moment count in the biggest fight of his unbeaten professional career thus far at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, home to his beloved club.
Riley, formerly the English cruiserweight champion, looked comfortable from the first round in North London and seemed to have the better of his opponent throughout.
But on a particularly slippery canvas which saw both men struggle to keep their footing at points, he was never too far out of reach for his rival to mount a comeback.
Both men brought a livewire energy to a bout with the added drama of a local football rivalry too, with Spurs fan Riley tangling frequently with Arsenal supporter Clarke.
Yet momentum looked to be with the former across the opening half, as he spun his opponent multiple times, and gauging a better range in their fast-paced exchanges.
The fight was briefly halted in the ninth for the floor to be mopped off with a towel underfoot, before both took a tumble in the tenth off a Riley hook around the neck.
Clarke never fell truly out of touching distance, as he looked to secure a return to winning ways following a first professional loss against Leonardo Mosquea in December.
However, he could never quite get the better of Riley, who fell to his knees in delight as scorecards of 117-111, 116-112 and 115-113 saw him crowned British champion.
Following Chris Billam-Smith's win over Brandon Glanton before, the result proved a second enjoyable bout for fans before headliners Chris Eubank Jr and Conor Benn.
