Artur Beterbiev has been nothing short of a tour de force so far as a professional boxer, and he is expected to continue his run when he faces Marcus Browne in a mandatory light-heavyweight championship title defence tonight.
The WBC and IBF belts will be on the line, and Beterbiev has his eyes on big fights in 2022 if he can pass this test as he has every other thus far.
“We are ready," said the champion at the final press conference. "We had a good training camp, and I am ready to show my best on Friday night.”
Challenger Browne, meanwhile, had the following to say: “We trained hard for the fight. He’s a tough customer, but on Friday night, we are changing the narrative.
"I wouldn’t be here if I didn’t believe, and come Friday night, you will see. I’m tired of talking. I want to fight.”
Here's everything you need to know about Beterbiev vs. Browne.
