After applying his trade in the world of MMA and bare knuckle fighting, Mike Perry is looking to bring his exciting fighting style to the boxing ring.
Perry has not laced up a pair of gloves since 2015 when he lost to Kenneth McNeil in the fourth and final round of their contest in Pensacola.
But for what will be just his second boxing match, the stage and the opponent does not get much bigger for Perry in the form of 'The Problem Child' who has quickly become one of the biggest names in the sport.
Ahead of his meeting with Paul, DAZN takes a look at Perry's professional boxing career.
Mike Perry is 0-1 when it comes to his career as a professional boxer.
Mike Perry is yet to win a championship in the world of professional boxing.
Mike Perry and Eddie Alvarez were featured in the main event of a Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship (BKFC) event, BKFC 56, with the winner earning the first ever BKFC King of Violence title.
The two fighters came out swinging from the opening bell and landed a number of blows, but neither man landed anything decisive.
Perry then asserted himself in the second round with a number of successful punches to Alvarez's head. Despite a strong finish to the second period from Alvarez, his corner pulled him out of the fight after suffering significant damage to his left eye which resulted in Perry being declared the winner by technical knockout.
The ringwalks for Paul vs. Perry are scheduled for 12 a.m. ET / 5 a.m. UK with the event set to begin at 9 p.m. ET / 2 a.m. UK. These timings are subject to change.
