Defending champion Michael van Gerwen extended his lead at the top of table on Thursday night after picking up the victory on Night Five in Exeter.
The Dutchman got past Gerwyn Price and Nathan Aspinall en-route to the final where he took on Jonny Clayton who was appearing in his Premier League Darts final of 2023.
Despite going 3-0 down, Clayton managed to rally and reduce the deficit to 4-3 before Van Gerwen went onto win two successive legs to secure the victory.
After two successive victories, Van Gerwen is the man to beat in the latest edition of Premier League Darts.
