The biggest kickboxing event of 2025 is set for June 14 with GLORY 100 and it will be broadcast live on DAZN.
This is a marquee event featuring 20 bouts of striking action, multiple world championship matches, pound-for-pound stakes, a heavyweight tournament and the biggest star in the sport will be competing.
It's no secret that this is a must-watch event so let’s count down the five best reasons to get excited for GLORY 100.
Rico Verhoeven is considered an all-time kickboxing great.
When he fights, he is no longer competing just for titles or a notch on the record, he is competing for his place in combat sports greatness.
‘The King of Kickboxing’ Verhoeven captured the GLORY heavyweight world championship over a decade ago and has defended this title in 12 matches in addition to his 2021 and 2024 Grand Prix victories. At Glory 100, he will take on Artem Vakhitov a former light heavyweight champion who has a tough task in upsetting one the sport's greatest ever fighters.
Thailand's Petpanomrung Kiatmuu9 is set to defend his GLORY featherweight crown against the Portuguese knockout artist Miguel Trindade in a match that will have serious consequences for pound-for-pound rankings.
Both men are ranked as pound-for-pound strikers in kickboxing and with a win, Trindade could break into the top five while Petch could potentially grab the number one spot.
These two rivals met once before at the end of a one-night RISE x GLORY tournament in Japan, where Petch was able to win a closely fought decision. Now, Trindade is seeking to avenge this loss and capture a world title.
GLORY 100 will see four world championship matches take place at heavyweight, light heavyweight, middleweight, and featherweight.
All-time great Rico Verhoeven will look to defend his heavyweight throne against former champion Artem Vakhitov, meanwhile Tarik Khbabez and Sergej Maslobojev meet in a rematch for the light heavyweight title.
The dominant middleweight champion Donovan Wisse also be in action against Michael Boapeah, the man who gave him the toughest test of his career, and featherweight great Petch will face knockout striker Miguel Trindade for Glory gold.
GLORY 99 kicked off the first round of the 2025 Heavyweight Last Man Standing Tournament which featured a whopping 32 athletes.
It is a record-setting tournament that is now down to a star-studded 16 heavyweights. The next round goes down at Glory 100 where each athlete will need to win twice in one night to move to the subsequent stage.
Fans can expect to see all-stars such as Jamal Ben Saddik, ‘Cookie’ Tariq Osaro, Bahram Rajabzadeh, Mory Kromah, ‘Big Sexy’ Nico Horta, and Iraj Azizpour in action.
The Azerbaijani striker Bahram Rajabzadeh has quickly become one of the most popular athletes in kickboxing since his GLORY debut in 2023. ‘The Golden Wolf’ is a must-watch fighter who is always aggressive and moving forward whilst seeking a highlight knockout finish.
He will enter this tournament match against Asdren Gashi with a near 90% knockout win rate in his professional career.
