Alexandre Pantoja makes his fourth defence of the UFC flyweight title tonight when he faces Kai Kara-France at UFC 317.
Pantoja won the belt on July 8, 2023 and has held it ever since, dispatching of challengers Brandon Royval, Steve Erceg and Kai Asakura. It was against the latter that the 'Cannibal' was last in action, when he earned performance of the night at UFC 310 following his second-round submission (rear-naked choke) of the Japanese fighter.
As for Kara-France, he was last seen making quick work of Erceg in August of last year, when he earned a TKO (punches) victory inside the first round.
