Conor McGregor wants to be active.

Former two-division champion Conor McGregor wants to be more active in 2024. The former champion is coming off a nearly three-year layoff to fight Michael Chandler on June 29 but he says he hopes to fight several more times before the end of the year.

“I’ll do three this year: June, September, December,” McGregor said during an interview with the MacLife. “… We’ve got Chandler in June, obviously. September, Sphere, is Mexican Independence Day.

"Potentially someone with Mexican heritage, maybe a (Nate) Diaz. I think Diaz would be perfect. I don’t know the ins and outs. I kind of thought that would be a lovely one."

He continued, "I’m up for anyone. Any one of them, that’s the truth. I don’t really care who it is.

"I just – I’m back. I want the activity, and I’ve said this before, and God willing, please, this is the time. I feel and I believe that it is. Whoever it is. There’s loads of them that it could be. They’re queuing them. There’s been loads of callouts. So, I’m excited about that. Line them up, and I’m going to knock them down.”

McGregor has had several periods of inactivity and several retirements throughout the years. He's still one of the biggest draws the UFC has ever had so being active would be ideal for the promotion.
