Kamaru Usman looks to stop a three-fight losing streak as he headlines the latest edition of UFC Fight Night tonight against Joaquin Buckley.
Usman (20-4) held the UFC welterweight title for nearly three years until he dropped the belt to Leon Edwards in 2022. The Nigerian lost the rematch in March 2023 and then was defeated in his middleweight debut aganst Khamzat Chimaev later that year, so Saturday's bout is a long-awaited return for the popular former champion as he goes back to the division that he once ruled.
As for Buckley (21-6), the American has seen his star rise thanks to six straight victories. His latest outing was a third-round stoppage victory over former interim welterweight champ Colby Covington in December, and he looks to continue his climb up the division's ladder against Usman.
