UFC 318 takes place New Orleans tonight, marking the end of an era for one of MMA's most storied faces as he calls time on a decade-and-a-half-long career.
After making his UFC debut way back in 2010, Dustin Poirier will hang up the gloves one last time after he takes on Max Holloway for the BMF title.
Poirier's MMA career has been an entertaining one and he is set for an emotional night with an event that rewards him with a return to his home state of Louisiana.
Both Poirer and Holloway are fighters who are not afraid to go toe-to-toe and trade strikes in the middle of the Octagon which should make for a thrilling main event.
DAZN News has everything you need to know ahead of Holloway vs Poirier.
Holloway vs Poirier will take place on Saturday, July 19 at the Smoothie King Center in New Orleans.
The main card is set to begin at 10pm on the East Coast, which means an early start for UK MMA fans who can tune in at 3am on Sunday morning.
Holloway and Poirier are set to make their cagewalks at 12:05am ET (Sunday) / 5:10am BST (Sunday), but these timings are subject to change.
