They fought way back in August 2014 in Boston with McGregor besting Holloway by unanimous decision. Things have changed since then for both guys.

McGregor (22-6) last fought in July 2021 at UFC 264 against Dustin Poirier. In the first round, McGregor suffered a horrific broken leg and hasn't fought since. Now, the former two-division UFC champion looks to complete a successful comeback against one of the UFC's toughest and greatest champions.

Holloway (27-9) is a former UFC featherweight and BMF champion. He's regarded along with McGregor as one of the greatest featherweights of all time. The native of Hawaii last competed in March at UFC 326, losing the BMF title to Charles Oliveira. It will be the first time Holloway competes at 170 pounds after solely fighting at 145 and 155 pounds.
