Arsenal won by the most fitting of scores on Monday, 1-0 over visiting Burnley, to put them within touching distance of the Premier League title, and captain Martin Odegaard has pledged that the team will "give it our all" to win the elusive crown as well as the Champions League final at the end of the month.
The Gunners put themselves five points up on Manchester City with Monday's hard-fought victory, meaning that any slip-up by the Sky Blues in their final two matches would make Arsenal the Premier League champions for the first time in 22 years.
And even if Man City were to win both of their games, an Arsenal victory against Crystal Palace on Sunday would seal it for Odegaard and Co.
"It's been an amazing season so far," Odegaard told the crowd at Emirates Stadium following the final whistle. "We have one big one left here [on Sunday at Palace] and then the Champions League final. We want to take the trophies home.
"Just a little bit to go now and we are going to give it our all. We have to keep going."
The atmosphere at Arsenal's stadium was understandably jubilant given the circumstances, with Monday's match the final one for the club on home soil this season. Odegaard saluted the fans for their support throughout the season, and he vowed on behalf of the players to fight for the two trophies within the team's grasp.
"I can promise you all that we give everything we have every single day, and we are going to keep going until the very end," he said. "With your support we are going to be ready.
"The fans have been amazing, especially these last two home games arriving at the stadium and seeing everything outside. The atmosphere inside here is amazing. Let's get ready for the last two."
