Arsenal look to get back to winning ways on Wednesday when they host Luton Town.
The Gunners saw their nine-match league win streak come to an end over the weekend as they played to a 0-0 draw at Manchester City. While the result was a decent one for an Arsenal side who in recent years have more often than not come out on the losing end against City, it allowed Liverpool to leapfrog into first place in the standings.
Now, with just nine games left to play, the North London club will need to continue maximising the points they earn, starting with a Luton side that have slipped into the relegation zone.
"We're going to be needing even more," Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta said of Wednesday's match. "It's after two and a half days. [Luton] are in a really good moment - when you see the games that they have played and even when they haven't won, they've been really tough.
"We have had some extraordinary results against the other two teams that are, at the moment, leading the table. We are not top so that means that we have missed certain points somewhere else and that's what we have to put the emphasis on now [Wednesday]."
