The astonishing goalscoring figures fuelling Champions League contenders Real Madrid, Bayern Munich and Manchester City

Nothing, it seems, can stop Kylian Mbappe, Harry Kane and Erling Haaland right now.

The trio are in incredible form this season, with Real Madrid superstar Mbappe topping the Champions League goalscoring charts with five and Bayern Munich’s Kane on four.

The onus is now on Manchester City goal-machine Haaland to try and keep pace with his striking rivals in Europe’s premier competition when his side travel to Monaco tonight.

Here, DAZN News assesses the form of European football’s three most lethal marksmen.

Kylian Mbappe (Real Madrid)

Mbappe has 15 goals in 11 appearances for Los Blancos and France already this term.

He has found the net in all but one of those games and scored 12 times in his last eight matches.

Last night's hat-trick in the 5-0 win to Kairat Almaty lifted the 26-year-old to the top of the Champions League goalscoring charts, albeit with only two games played.

The France captain bagged a brace in the 2-1 home win over Marseille in Matchday One a fortnight ago and went one better in Kazakhstan last night.

More significantly, Mbappe's goals were his 58th, 59th and 60th in the Champions League and meant he overtook former Bayern Munich striker Thomas Muller to become the sixth highest scorer in the competition's history.

Harry Kane (Bayern Munich)

Kane's form is almost off the charts – the former Tottenham Hotspur man simply cannot stop scoring.

He has notched 18 goals in 10 appearances for Bayern Munich and England this season.

The 32-year-old scored twice in the 3-1 win over Chelsea in Matchday One of the Champions League.

He was at it again last night, claiming another double in the Bundesliga champions' 5-1 win at Pafos.

That left him on four Champions League goals after two games - one behind Mbappe.

Kane has now scored 102 goals in 105 games for the German giants following his £86.4million move from Tottenham in August 2023. It feels remarkable.

Erling Haaland (Manchester City)

Much like Mbappe and Kane, Haaland has been playing with dynamite in his boots this season.

He has scored 15 goals in nine games for club and country and put the fear of God into opposition defences.

Haaland has found the net 13 times in his last seven games, which included a five-goal haul in Norway's 11-1 demolition of Moldova in a World Cup qualifier last month.

He has scored at least one goal in all but one of his six Premier League appearances this term and was on target in the 2-0 win over Napoli in Matchday One of the Champions League.

Monaco should beware of the giant Norwegian when City roll into town tonight to face them in the French principality.
