The new Serie A season is up and running and it promises to be another tight race between the contenders for the title this campaign.
It's been five years since any team retained the championship, and there could be a case made for any of the big names to walk away as champions this season.
Someone who has experienced what it's like to play in Serie A is former England winger Lee Sharpe. Sharpe enjoyed a spell on loan with Sampdoria in the league's nineties heyday and still has fond memories of his time in Italy.
He said, "I always keep an eye on what's happening in Serie A, it's a great league with great fans and I really enjoyed my time there with Sampdoria.
"The title race has been really close in recent years and I think it will be again when you have teams like Juventus and both the Milan clubs - such great names.
"I fancy Napoli to win the championship again, this season, though.
"Antonio Conte is a serial winner and a top coach, he's doing such a great job there and I think they'll win the league again.
"Especially when you add in Kevin De Bruyne as well. His distribution will give the side another dangerous element, which is why I can't see past them this year.

Of course, Napoli's title win in 2025 was fuelled by the form of Scott McTominay, who became a hero in Naples thanks to his displays and was named as the league's Player of the Season.
Sharpe is over the moon to see a British player excel in Serie A and hopes to see McTominay continue to drive Napoli to more success.
"It's always great to see British players do well in Serie A," he added.
"Because you don't get too many and it's such a great league to play in, and McTominay has gone there and really shown what a player he is.
"He's hardworking and has a great eye for goal, I'm really excited to see him continue his success, especially now he'll be alongside De Bruyne in that midfield, too.
"I don't think Manchester United should have sold him. He's that type of player they need, especially having come through the academy; he understood the club and what it was about."
