Igor Tudor warns of 'big problems' at Tottenham after fourth straight Premier League loss

Tottenham Hotspur's downward spiral continued on Sunday with a 2-1 loss at Fulham, squandering the chance to move up from their 16th place position in the Premier League standings.

The result comes after Spurs attempted to fight back from a two-goal deficit in the first half at Craven Cottage, but Richarlison's 66th-minute goal was all they could muster as their league winless skid was extended to 10 matches.

Igor Tudor has only been in charge for Tottenham's last two matches, but the new manager has already made a sobering assessment of the team following Sunday's defeat.

"We were not good, lacked everything," Tudor told Sky Sports. "Attacking and defending. Fulham were much better.

"There are problems here, big problems. We need to stay calm, believe in what we are doing in training, and get out, staying all together.

"These are not things to speak outside, we speak in the dressing room. The problems are more complex [than just attitude], second half was better but the first half was not enough."

Tottenham missed an opportunity to climb the standings as 15th place Leeds United were also losers in Matchweek 28, but they were also fortunate not to fall further down the table as the next three teams — Nottingham Forest, West Ham and Burnley — also lost their latest games.

For Tudor, any thoughts of a relegation battle are premature as he looks to instill a winning attitude in the struggle side.

"We are just thinking about the next game," he said. "We don't need to think about [relegation] not because it cannot happen, but we must focus on growing mentality as a team, concentration, physically. These are the only goals we must have."
