Former Scotland international Graeme Souness has bigged up England's chance of glory at this summer's Euros.
Gareth Southgate's side go into the tournament looking to win their first major trophy since 1966, having finished runners-up in the competition three years ago.
Talking on William Hill’s new podcast, Three Up Front, Souness said he could see the Three Lions finally ending their trophy drought in Germany.
“I can see Gareth Southgate going to Euro 2024 with England this summer and winning it," he said.
"They’re favourites for the tournament and they’ve got a group of players that are more than capable of winning it, if they’re handled right.
“He has enough flair, imagination and goalscorers at his disposal but he should be letting them off the leash a little bit more than he does at the moment.
"They need to start games on the front foot. England have a great bunch of players that have to be let off the lead and allowed to get after teams.”
