Last Saturday was supposed to signal a new era for Milan, as the returning Massimiliano Allegri took charge of his first league game back at the club and new signing Luka Modric made his Serie A bow. 

However, that feel-good factor quickly eroded as the Rossineri suffered a 2-1 home defeat to newly-promoted Cremonese in what was the headline story of the opening weekend. 

That result has already heaped pressure on the veteran boss ahead of just the second week of the campaign and he'll be out to show that matchday one's performance was just a one-off as they visit Lecce on Friday. 

Lecce began their season with a credible goalless draw away at Genoa and will look to repeat that defensive solidity when they welcome Milan.
