Guardiola lauds 'incredible signings' Semenyo and Guehi after Man City dominate Fulham

Manchester City welcomed Fulham to the Etihad on Wednesday and left their visitors stunned, claiming a 3-0 victory.

Powered by goals from Antoine Semenyo, Nico O'Reilly and Erling Haaland, City were able to breeze past a tricky Fulham side. The victory comes three days after the Sky Blues completed a thrilling late-game comeback victory over Liverpool at Anfield, and Pep Guardiola hailed his players for their ability to quickly turn their focus to the Cottagers.

"It was not easy after incredible emotions when you play an emotional game like Liverpool," the Man City manager told TNT Sports after the match. "It was a really, really good performance. So happy with the guys."

Guardiola was particularly pleased with the play of City's two newest acquisitions, Semenyo and defender Marc Guehi, whom he identified as key drivers of the team's recent success as they continue to chase Arsenal for the Premier League title.

"[Semenyo] has a sense of the second balls in the box but not just that the pace and intensity - he is a top, top player," Guardiola said. "With him and Marc Guehi, the club make incredible signings."
