Manchester United to face Tottenham Hotspur in Europa League final
The 2025 UEFA Europa League final will be an all-English affair, with Manchester United taking on Tottenham Hotspur.
United ran out 4-1 winners over Athletic Bilbao in the second leg of their semi-final on Thursday, claiming a 7-1 aggregate victory in the tie. Meanwhile, Spurs enjoyed a similarly lopsided score across the two legs of their semi-final against FK Bodø/Glimt as Tottenham won 2-0 in Norway on Thursday to finish with a 5-1 aggregate win.
The results belie the domestic form of both clubs, with United and Spurs occupying the 15th and 16th spots in the Premier League standings, respectively.
Regardless, the clubs will still play for a major trophy as they are set to meet in the final on May 21 at the San Mamés Stadium in Bilbao, Spain.
