Halifax bounced back from their surprise home defeat to Fylde in their last midweek fixture by seeing off Tamworth on Saturday, live in front of the DAZN cameras.
Scott High's winner means it's just one defeat in their last five and are another side with play-off ambitions as it heads into the business end of the season.
They travel to inconsistent Southend, whose mid-table position epitomises their current campaign.
