Which clubs have won the most National League titles?

Astonishingly, there have been 34 different winners of the fifth tier, and the ceiling for promoted sides is high, with Luton Town reaching the Premier League less than a decade after lifting the National League title.

Barnet are the most successful National League side in history, having lifted the trophy for a fourth time last season.

Behind the North London outfit, Macclesfield are the only team to have lifted the trophy three times, having achieved the feat in 1994-95, 1996-97 and 2017-18, while seven clubs have lifted it twice.

Wrexham achieved the highest number of points in National League history when they won the title in 2022-23, finishing the season with 111 points.
